Board Committees

Committee on Ministry

The role of the Committee on Ministry (COM) is to help strengthen the quality of ministry for the congregation. Its main task is to monitor, on a regular and continuing basis, the effectiveness of the congregation's ministry.

COM Members are Chris Hudson, Sue Price, and Sue Stemetzki.

Task Force on Ministry

The UUCF Task Force on Ministry was appointed by the Board in 2009 to examine the roles and relationships of the ministers, review earlier studies on UUCF ministry, and benchmark 13 other large congregations.

The Task Force prepared a draft report on the ministry in October 2009.

Committee Members are Craig Bennett, chair; Rev. Mary Katherine Morn; Dave Brummond; John Cunningham; Penny Jackson; and David Michael.

Denominational Affairs Committee

The Denominational Affairs Committee (DAC), accountable to the Board of Directors, provides connections to the congregation from the rich resources of the external UU world including the Unitarian Universalist Association and our Joseph Priestly District. Audit Committee

The Finance Committee is a resource to the Board of Directors, Coordinating Team (CT), Lay Ministers, and staff in the following ways: 

• Reviews the annual budget submitted to the Board by the CT and recommends changes and/or Board approval; 
• Reviews monthly financial statement of accounts and makes recommendations if adjustments need to be made; and
• Assists the Board in making other financial decisions and policy.
