Endowment Fund Committee accepting grants

The Endowment Fund Committee is accepting applications for grants to fund projects that support UUCF or the broader community. Priority is given to requests that best reflect UUCF’s strategic goals and strategies. For example, in recent years, grants have been made to purchase new pulpit furniture, refurbish the room formerly known as the Bride’s Room to showcase artifacts from our partner churches, support Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions community outreach and support youth attendance at General Assembly. Volunteering in Houston and other hurricane-ravaged areas

Many people have asked UUCF staff about forming a group of rebuilding volunteers. The Unitarian Universalist Association and the UU Service Committee (UUSC) are forming partnerships with local charities and assessing ways to help poor and marginalized populations traditionally most vulnerable in these tragedies. Once they form those partnerships and a volunteer infrastructure, UUCF will communicate about how to get involved. In the meantime, here are ways to help now. You can also state your intention to help by filling out this UUSC volunteer form.
