Partner Church celebration in Transylvania

Sep. 28-30, 2018. Rev. Barni Varro, our partner minister in Transylvania, has invited UUCF congregants to visit Szentgerice and join the Szentgerice Unitarian Church’s celebration of the 450th anniversary of the founding of Unitarianism. This is a great opportunity to visit our partners and deepen our knowledge of the origins of our faith following the issuance of the Edict of Religious Toleration by the Prince of Transylvania in 1568. UUCF travelers would be able to join an organized trip. Learn more here. Interested or have questions? Contact Dick Van Duizend, 703-536-3476, or any other member of UUCF’s Partner Church Circle.

He leaves a legacy of capability and caring that will remain in our congregational systems for many years. We are also grateful to Rich’s family who supported his traveling back and forth to Harrisonburg for so many years. We wish Rich […]
