Questions? Contact Kerry Fraser, 703-255-5844. DC has withdrawn funding for the day camp Beacon House has operated every summer for years. The camp is important to approximately 175 kids, some of whom go primarily to get something to eat. If Beacon House can’t quickly replace the funds, it will be unable to hold the camp this summer, so it is scrambling. To donate online, go to www.beaconhousedc.org/give/. Or send a check made payable to Beacon House to P.O. Box 29629, Washington, DC 20017.
