SR&R – Oct. 21

Did Early Christianity Evict Women? Sun., Oct. 21, 12:30-2 p.m., Sanctuary. Open to the public. Questions? Contact Dan Yacoe. This talk will explore women’s pivotal roles in the early church and how male church leaders reacted to women’s authority. We will draw parallels about how groups with privilege today react to leadership from marginalized groups in progressive movements, including Unitarian Universalism. Pippin Whitaker, Ph.D., M.S.W., is UUCF’s intern minister, a scholar of community change to prevent violence, and an evaluation consultant. More at www.elide.world.
