Learn with other UU congregations diving into racial justice or multicultural work and be more authentically open to new cultures and backgrounds. Workshop will provide both an analytic framework and concrete skills for effectively developing relationships across differences.
About the leaders: Rev. Rob Keithan is a faith organizing and training consultant specializing in reproductive health, rights and justice issues as well as congregational social justice programs. He is a certified facilitator in the UU Ministers Association Intercultural Communication Training program and now brings the material to religious educators and congregational leaders.
Rev. Rebekah Montgomery is assistant minister at the UU Church of Rockville, MD, where her portfolio includes Adult Faith Formation, Membership, Lay Ministry and Racial Justice. She is also a licensed professional counselor and Army chaplain in the reserves with 15+ years of experience in pastoral services, counseling, grief management and conflict resolution.
