Racial justice in RE

Families for Social Justice

Families for Social Justice intergenerational service project to benefit Women Giving Back (WGB). Drop in between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to work with other UUCF friends and families. WGB assists women and children in crisis by giving them free clothing from the organization’s store. Volunteers sort, restock, play with clients’ babies and young children in the child care area or work in the warehouse. (Note: All adult males work only in the warehouse behind the storefront). Conversations About Race With Teens

Sun., May 7, 3:30-5:30 p.m., Social Hall at UUCF. Parents will meet at the same time in the Program Building. Questions? Contact Courtney Firth. Supported group interaction between Grade 7 youth from UUCF and Beacon House. The sessions are designed and led by trained and professional counselors and a youth coordinator from each community will lead the community-building social activities.
