Families for Social Justice intergenerational service project to benefit Women Giving Back (WGB). Drop in between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to work with other UUCF friends and families. WGB assists women and children in crisis by giving them free clothing from the organization’s store. High School Youth Apr. 2 plans

Sun., Apr. 2. High School Youth will attend services the Oakton Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints next door to UUCF. The 9:15 class will meet at 8:45 a.m. and walk over for the service at 9. The 11:15 class will meet at 10:45 and walk over for the service at 11. Both classes will come back to UUCF for a quick follow-up discussion and class will end at the normal times.

Coming of Age DC Adventure Trip

Visit All Souls Church Unitarian in DC for a worship service, the National Universalist Congregation, Ben’s Chili Bowl (civil rights history) for lunch and the National Portrait Gallery for a UU scavenger hunt.

Parent Support Group

This newly forming group is focused on deep sharing of the challenges facing parents/guardians of children and youth with special or unique needs. There is room for 5 more people to join the group. A new group will form if enough people are interested.
