This special celebration invites Unitarian Union Northeast India and American partners to come together for learning and blessings for Unitarian Anniversary Day. This is the anniversary of the first church service led by Hajom Kissor Singh in his home with three members on Sep. 18, 1887. It is one of the most celebrated services in northeast India and is considered the founding of Unitarianism in the Khasi Hills. Join the event via Google Meet. Questions? Contact Dick Van Duizend.
Along with services throughout the day, there is a twilight torchlight parade through the community, complete with a sound truck playing Unitarian hymns. Unitarian homes are decorated with colored lights. This is the first time the Unitarian Union of Northeast India and the Unitarian Universalist Association have joined in a livestream program.Contact:
