Would you like to understand more about the connection between diet and climate? If so, join the Climate Action Group for an information session with Dr. Vanita Rahman. She will review the interplay between the foods we eat and climate change, and tell participants about steps they can take to minimize their carbon footprint.
This is the first in a four-part luncheon series on the theme “Saving the Planet, One Forkful at a Time.” The program will include a light plant-based luncheon prepared by the Climate Action Group. To RSVP or ask questions, please contact Loretta Rowe.
Dr. Rahman is a native of Fairfax County and earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. She practices at the Barnard Medical Center and is also a clinical instructor at the George Washington University School of Medicine.Contact:
