Join UUs for Social Justice, UU the VOTE, UU Justice Ohio, Side With Love and Georgia UU congregations, by Zoom, to learn more about voter suppression in the post-election period and how UUs are coming together to continue defending our democracy. Register here. This action comes as Congress considers legislation (H.R.1/S.1) to improve access to voting. Yet 43 state legislatures are furthering various forms of voter suppression and the criminalization of protest in 250 bills. Last year we showed the power of UUs to move votes, now we must show our power to support needed reforms and contest this dangerous swelling of anti-democratic measures. In addition, tell your U.S. senators to support S.1, the For the People Act of 2021.
