Date/TimeWed., March 24, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join UU minister and UUCF member Rev. Kären Rasmussen as she talks about some effective and meaningful ways to address hunger in your community. Rev. Kären is the founder and director of the non-profit No Child Goes Hungry. This conversation will help spark your imagination with some doable ways you and your congregation can have an impact on local food insecurity.
Some examples are:
- Starting a Little Free Pantry to provide accessible food
- How to partner with your local schools to help with their needs
- Collaborating with local food pantries and shelters to explore how you can work together
Many of these activities can be multi-generational and No Child Goes Hungry can help with seed money to get you started.
Event is free but registration is required to get the Zoom link. Sponsored by the Central East Region of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
