UUCF Circle Dinners are famous for good food and conversation. Circle Dinners are monthly potlucks hosted by participants in their homes. Come to meet new people and renew old acquaintances. Depending on who volunteers to host, we have dinners for adults only and for families with children.

Hosting a Circle Dinner

We can’t have Circle Dinners without hosts. The host decides where to hold the dinner and how many guests to accommodate. Dinners are usually in the hosts’ homes, but some have used their neighborhood clubhouse or an entertainment room in their apartment building. The number of guests is typically around seven or eight, but can range higher or lower depending on how many the host wishes. A host typically sets the table and provides beverages. Some include wine and other alcoholic delights among the beverages they offer. Others leave the alcohol to their guests, who all bring the food. About a week before the dinner, the host receives a list of guests’ names and email addresses. The host then contacts the guests to coordinate the food they bring. Please consider volunteering to host. Without our hosts, Circle Dinners don’t happen.
