UUCF’s Religious Exploration (RE) program invites an exploration of faith, ethics and spirituality development and helps children and youth develop a Unitarian Universalist (UU) identity, while developing a personal spiritual path.
Our classes are for all children, age 2 through high school with Nursery provided for infants and children through age 3. This is a cooperative program with each adult in the family expected to teach once every 3 years. Program volunteers can teach during the summer (six lead teacher spots) or greeting once a month instead of teaching a class from May to September. Please talk to Linnea Nelson, Director of Religious Exploration, if you foresee a challenge with the volunteer responsibility.
Please visit and explore our program. You can see a little of how we are changing the world in this short video from 2014-15 and this Paying it Forward video from 2015-16. RE greeters and staff will be in the Program Building (where we hold classes) to welcome you, give you name tags and answer your questions.
