Inspired by Jonathan Haidt’s book “The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion” and other authors, this class will look at people from diverse political and cultural backgrounds and try to better understand one another’s values and beliefs – and possibly even find areas of agreement across the usual political and cultural boundaries.
