Join us for an inspiring afternoon of music when more than 250 singers from 14 UU congregations in the greater Washington, DC/Baltimore area as they join with composer/conductor Rollo Dilworth to present “America, the Dream: Singing for Racial Justice.” The service will include the world premiere of “America, the Dream,” commissioned from Mr. Dilworth by our UU church choirs, a performance by West African drumming ensemble Akoma from All Souls Church, social justice sing-along hymns, remarks from Revs. Abhi Janamanchi and Nancy McDonald Ladd and a reflection from Mr. Dilworth.
