Sun., August 9, 2020 – Individual Freedom vs. Collective Liberation, Aug. 9 Worship
Worship Leader: Senior Minister Rev. David A. Miller.
Music: Director of Music & Arts/Worship Coordinator Laura Weiss.
Special Music: Francisco Ruiz.
Religious Exploration: Summer RE Session 2 continues Aug. 9, 16 and 23. Summer classes focus on fun and fellowship with a side serving of UU values. Online classes are led by UUCF RE staff. One parent helper is needed each week to co-host the Zoom meeting (admit students from waiting rooms, mute/unmute, etc.).
Multi-age classes break down as follows:
8:45-9:30 a.m. – Ages 2-5 – Hello Friends, and Rising Kindergarten-Rising Grade 3 – Dr. Suess and UU. Parents need to register their children for these classes so that the RE staff can create customized craft kits for the children.
11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. – Rising Grades 4-6 – D’Oh God, and Rising Grades 7-12 – The Good Place. These classes do not require pre-registration; children and youth are able to just drop in. Families new to the UUCF RE program should contact Director of Religious Exploration Diana Tycer to enroll their children or youth in the overall RE program and receive the Zoom meeting links for these classes.
