Sun., April 28, 2024 – Thriving is More Than Surviving
Multiplatform service at 10 a.m. The service is also available via livestream.
- Worship participants: Senior Minister Rev. David A. Miller, Director of Family Ministries Diana Tycer, Director of Music & Arts Laura Weiss, and Worship Associate Tom Hazzard. Audiovisual support provided by members of the AV Tech Team: Dave Anderson, Haydar Bolunmez, Bill Braband, Tom Hettenhouser, Mary Lareau, Ben Mellott and/or Alan Steel.
- Music: Handbell choirs from UUCF and the UU Congregation of Arlington (VA)
- Religious Exploration: Children and youth start out in worship service. Spring RE in session for ages 2 through HS. Child care is available for infants through age 3 in the Sanctuary Nursery.
- Service Rebroadcasts: The entire service is rebroadcast via livestream on Sundays at 1 and 7 p.m. and Mondays and Tuesdays and 7 p.m.

The Share the Plate recipient for April is Plant NOVA Natives, an all-volunteer campaign developed by a coalition of non-profit, governmental, and private groups, aimed at reversing the decline of native plants and wildlife in Northern Virginia. The group’s strategy is to encourage residents and public and commercial entities to install native plants as the first step toward creating wildlife habitat and functioning ecosystems on their own properties.
