This Month’s RE Schedule
Visiting children and youth (teens) are always welcome in Religious Exploration (RE) classes.
- Sunday, June 1, 10am: Fun & Friendship. All children start in worship and then transition to the Program Building for snack time, light conversation, and outside play until the worship service ends at 11am. Child care for babies and toddlers may be available in the Sanctuary Nursery.
- Sunday, June 8, 10am: Fun & Friendship. All children start in worship and then transition to the Program Building for snack time, light conversation, and outside play until the worship service ends at 11am. Child care for babies and toddlers may be available in the Sanctuary Nursery.
- Sunday, June 15, 10am: No RE. All-Congregation Worship service. Child care for babies and toddlers may be available in the Sanctuary Nursery.
- Sunday, June 22, 11am: No RE. Special all-ages services featuring a live broadcast of the worship service at Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly in Baltimore. Child care for babies and toddlers may be available in the Sanctuary Nursery.
- Sunday, June 29, 10am: Fun & Friendship. All children start in worship and then transition to the Program Building for snack time, light conversation, and outside play until the worship service ends at 11am. Child care for babies and toddlers may be available in the Sanctuary Nursery.
Summer 2025 RE/Family Ministry Dates
- July 6, 10:30am – All-Congregation Worship: Watch Party for a broadcast of the UU Silver Spring worship service.
- July 13, 10am – All-Congregation Worship
- July 20, 10am – Fun & Friendship: snack time, light conversation, and outside play.
- July 27, 10am – Summer RE: Classes for children age 3 through rising 12th grade in three groups: preschool and rising kindergarten, rising 1st-5th grades, and rising 6th-12 grades.
- August 3, 10am – Summer RE: Classes for children age 3 through rising 12th grade in three groups: preschool and rising kindergarten, rising 1st-5th grades, and rising 6th-12 grades.
- August 10, 10am – Summer RE: Classes for children age 3 through rising 12th grade in three groups: preschool and rising kindergarten, rising 1st-5th grades, and rising 6th-12 grades.
- August 17, 10am – Summer RE: Classes for children age 3 through rising 12th grade in three groups: preschool and rising kindergarten, rising 1st-5th grades, and rising 6th-12 grades.
- August 24, 10am – Animal Blessing Service – All-Congregation worship
- August 31, 10am – No RE. All-Congregation Camping Retreat at Big Meadows
