UUCF partners with the Cathy Hudgins Southgate Community Center in Reston to offer ESOL to adults. Adult and youth teaching assistants are needed for the fall semester. Teaching assistants do not need experience and will be paired with an experienced teacher to help students with reading and writing, assist in small group practice, model pronunciation, write vocabulary or grammar structures on the board, and generally encourage students. Sign up to help once or on a regular basis.
Classes start Wednesday, September 4, and are held on Wednesdays at 10-11:30am and 7-8:30pm.
