UUCF offers a variety of worship, fellowship and music events during the holidays. You can also celebrate every day in December with the UUCF Online Advent Calendar. Visit each day for a new gift of beauty, joy, knowledge or peace.
Holiday events
- Holiday Community Altar – Any time beginning Tue., Dec. 1. Stop by UUCF to contribute something to the altar, a place of joy, gratitude, reflection and sharing. Items will be open to the elements. Label your item with your name if you want it back. Be prepared to wear a mask and social distance if you encounter others on campus during your visit.
- Middle School Holiday Movie Watch Party – Fri., Dec. 4, 7-9 p.m. Join Courtney Firth to watch a family-friendly holiday movie. If you don’t have Netflix, you can use a UUCF login. You will need to download the Netflix Party extension to your desktop or laptop through Google Chrome. Sign up here (chaperones needed too) and Courtney will send you details.
- Holiday Caroling – Sat., Dec. 5, 7-8 p.m. Brew some hot cocoa or your favorite seasonal beverage and sing along to holiday favorites. All are welcome. Login information here.

- Winter Solstice Service – Fri., Dec. 18, 7-8 p.m. Login information here. Please join the UUCF Women’s Ritual Council in celebration of the Winter Solstice! The Solstice represents the seasonal turning point on the darkest day of the year and marks the return of the Sun. It is an important occasion honored by cultures around the world. In a time when we could all use more connection and joy, we will be sharing traditions of Yule celebration from historic to current times. All are welcome to join in our merrymaking.
- Nativity Pageant Worship Service – Sun., Dec. 20, 10 a.m. All children are invited to dress up as animals, shepherds or angels and participate in the pageant. Their parts will be pre-recorded so you must sign them up to participate. UUCF has some costumes to lend out. Reserve a costume here and pick up at the UUCF campus. Homemade or purchased costumes are fine, too. Children are welcome to dress as any creature they choose (fictional ones are OK, too). All are welcome at the manger!
