Scammers have been using fake email addresses, pretending to be either Rev. David Miller or a congregational leader, and reaching out to congregants asking for emails/calls/gift cards, or even access to the member directory. These requests are scams. Always immediately delete these emails.
UUCF’s minister and congregational leaders do NOT reach out to congregants in this way, so never provide money or personal or congregational information in response to a request without verifying that it is legitimate.
