Senior Minister Rev. David Miller and Board President Gina Wells share some exciting news about new technology that will significantly improve viewing slides and videos in the Sanctuary. This upgrade was driven by congregational input during Bridge Capital Campaign interviews and will be paid for by funds raised during the campaign.
The Board of Directors asked the Building Committee to do a thorough assessment of available technologies, and the committee recommended UUCF replace its projection system with LED video walls. The video walls will not only provide much-clearer images, the technology also has a longer lifespan and is slightly more economical than projection.
Installation will start with electrical upgrades in mid-October. A week later, the LED video walls will be installed. All installation will take place on weekdays and will not affect Sunday worship.
