Share the Plate
UUCF shares half of its weekly offering with a nonprofit doing work consistent with UUCF’s mission. The Share the Plate recipient for January is Food Justice DMV, a volunteer collective delivering food throughout the DMV and acting in solidarity with thousands of immigrant neighbors. Since 2020, the organization has delivered food to nearly 1 million people – the vast majority of whom are neighbors of color who are undocumented or asylum seekers with no economic safety net.
