Worship Leader: Guest minister Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd is director of communications and public ministry at the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). She previously served as senior minister at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation from 2012-2024. Along with the Rev. Manish Mishra-Marzetti, she co-edited “Seeds of a New Way: Nurturing Authentic and Diverse Religious Leadership,” which explores the unique demands and possibilities collaboration can bring to leadership in progressive faith traditions. She is also the author of “After the Good News: Progressive Religion Beyond Optimism.”

Music: The UUCF Choir
Religious Exploration: Hello Friends (toddlers) and 7-9th Grade and high school Our Whole Lives start in class at 10am. All other students start in worship and then proceed to their RE classes. Child care available for infants and toddlers in the Sanctuary Nursery.

Share the Plate Offering

UUCF shares half of its weekly offering with a nonprofit doing work consistent with UUCF’s mission. The Share the Plate recipient for March is SafeSpot Children’s Advocacy Center of Fairfax County, which provides no-cost services to child victims of sexual abuse and their non-offending family members. All services are designed to reduce trauma, better navigate the systems involved, and promote healing. DONATE HERE.
