Worship Watch Party on Sunday, July 6, 10:30am
“To Be an American in 2025” – Watch Party in the Sanctuary. Service from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring. Also available via Zoom. NOTE: This service will not be livestreamed from UUCF’s platform.
Worship Leader: UU Silver Spring Minister Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt will lead a service of poetry, prose, and song exploring the nuances of what it means to be an American in such a time as this.
Religious Exploration (RE): No RE. Children and youth are invited to join the watch party. The Nursery is also available if parents/caregivers of infants and toddlers need to use that space. The service can be viewed from the Nursery.
Audiovisual Support: led by A/V Specialist 1 Ben Mellott, the team is made up of the following staff/volunteers: Dave Anderson, Bill Braband, Leigh Eggleston, Donny Emerick, Raina G., Tom Hettenhouser, and Mary Lareau.

Share the Plate
UUCF shares half of its weekly offering with a nonprofit doing work consistent with UUCF’s mission. The Share the Plate recipient for June and half of July is Rosie’s Farm Sanctuary, which rescues and rehabilitates farm animals and provides programs and advocacy aimed at educating the public about the suffering of agricultural animals.
