The UUCF Board of Directors is proposing the attached budget (and below) for the 2024-25 congregational year, to be approved at the Annual Meeting on Sun., Jun. 2, at 11:15 a.m. The Board wants to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to the 341 UUCF households that pledged their financial support in this year’s “Level Up” Annual Fund Campaign, for a total of $889k. This is a tremendous outpouring of support for UUCF’s mission – and allows the Board to present a balanced budget for 2024-25! This is great news for the congregation, after facing deficit budgets over a number of years.
Throughout this year, UUCF’s Generosity Team has worked to bring the budget to life for congregants. The team has offered “Financial Literacy” sessions to share budget basics, shared informative “Level Up” graphics about how UUCF’s current giving levels are distributed among congregants, and produced a popular “ABCs of pledging” video, which received recognition from other UU congregations.
In this vein, the attached budget includes descriptive details in the “Notes” column – to help make each line clear and informative. The Board hopes this is helpful, and welcomes questions (and suggestions for future improvements!) at an upcoming Budget Forum on Wed., May 22, 7 p.m., via Zoom.
The Board appreciates the incredible energy and growth happening at UUCF right now, and looks forward to an exciting year ahead with UUCF’s beloved community living its mission together.
