What does it mean to be truly known?
To be seen – and loved – for who you are?
What does it mean when the politics and culture of the day fight over the values of love, empathy, equity, and the incredible gift of diversity?
And what does it mean to find a safe and brave space to land, connect, and belong?
At the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, you can be known.
Here, you will be seen, loved, and welcomed as your whole, holy self – worthy of respect, deserving of love, and carrying inherent dignity.
This is especially true for those who feel targeted by politics or theologies rooted in fear and exclusion. UUCF is not a perfect place, nor the only space to find your sense of belonging, but we are here – pledging to practice a faith of inclusion, empathy and, as much as possible, love.
