Every February for almost 20 years, UUCF has been providing a 1-week shelter for adults unhoused in Fairfax County as part of FACETS‘ and Fairfax County’s hypothermia prevention program. The current leadership team would like to add a few new members to ensure UUCF can continue this tradition for years to come. Current team members: Tom Hettenhouser, George Hogeman, Jim Gillespie, Laurie Warhol, and Libby Jenkins.
