Donations of adult-size hats and gloves may be placed on the trees or on the bulletin board in the Program Building lobby. They will be given to organizations working with people who are homeless. For more than 25 years, UUCF has assisted the Community for Creative Non-Violence (CCNV) – a primary homeless shelter on 2nd & D streets in DC, on Thanksgiving. Please join Bob Hatfield and his daughter, Victoria, in this year’s effort. Instructions: Please contribute fully cooked food, including turkeys, stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, sauces and desserts. Multiple dishes are welcome. Use aluminum containers with foil wrapping and a taped note identifying the contents. Do not use containers that need to be returned to you.
