Thank you to UUCF congregants Judy Galliher, Victoria Hatfield, Jimmie Juarin, Hannah Kim, Marilynn Leesburg, and Blake Simpkins for making English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class time useful to about 80 student from about 20 different countries. Thanks also to community volunteers Lindsay Collins, Ricarda Dowling, and Carmen Fonseca Londoño. ESOL classes teach language, cultural knowledge and provide a much-needed sense of belonging and welcome. The regular classes are on break and will resume in September. A 7-week English for Citizenship summer class is underway with 25 students.
