UUCF has nurtured relationships with several groups whose missions are in line with our own. We host four of these groups on our campus and many members enjoy the relationship that has been fostered over the years:
The Siena School – Oakton Campus
The Siena School empowers students with language-based learning differences. The school holds classes in UUCF’s Program Building Monday through Friday during the school year.
Hunter Mill Montessori School
Hunter Mill Montessori School is a private preschool that holds daily classes in UUCF’s Program Building.
Mindfulness Practice Center of Fairfax
UUCF hosts the Mindfulness Practice Center of Fairfax. The center offers training in and practice of mindfulness in a nonsectarian way. Sessions are in the UUCF Chapel.
Shepherd’s Center of Northern Virginia
The Shepherd’s Center is an interfaith ministry supporting the intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being of community members 50 and older. UUCF, one of 14 sponsoring congregations, has pledged financial and volunteer support. The Shepherd’s Center’s Adventures in Learning is held on Thursdays at UUCF.
Mosaic Harmony
Mosaic Harmony is a multicultural, interfaith choir based in the Washington, DC, area. Mosaic Harmony rehearses in the UUCF Sanctuary every other Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
