About Acting Minister for Pastoral Care Rev. Alice King
Rev. Alice King began serving as acting minister for pastoral care in the fall of 2019. She serves in an interim capacity while UUCF's new Assistant Minister for Congregational Life Lara Cowtan's immigration application is being processed.
A graduate of Meadville Lombard Theological School, Rev. Alice is currently minister at the UU Church of Loudoun (UUCL) in Leesburg.
She has a long history of serving Unitarian Universalist congregations on both the west and east coasts. Before joining UUCL, she was an intern minister at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church. For nearly 10 years she served as the young adult and campus ministry coordinator at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in San Diego.
Alice also has extensive experience in holistic health practices, senior care, nonprofit leadership, and adult education. Her husband, Rev. David A. Miller, is UUCF's senior minister.
