Part-time Communications Specialist Sarah Creel is primarily responsible for maintaining website content and writing, editing and producing the weekly email announcements and the Sunday order of service and bulletin.

Sarah joined the UUCF communications staff in November 2013. Before that, she served as UUCF’s nursery coordinator from October 2008 to August 2013. She’s been a member of UUCF since 1998.

Sarah received her undergraduate degree in communications (with a journalism concentration) from James Madison University. She took time off from professional pursuits to help raise her children (Sarah and her husband, Hal, have two kids, Matthew and Jillian). Prior to having children, Sarah worked at a daily newspaper in Leesville, LA (while her husband served in the U.S. Army at nearby Fort Polk), and a monthly association magazine in Arlington, VA. She also completed George Washington University’s Publication Specialist Program.
