Don Andress
A memorial service honoring the life of UUCF member Don Andress, will be held on Saturday, March 22, 10am in the Sanctuary. Don died on November 19 due to complications from a stroke. He was 74 years old. Don joined UUCF in 2009 and had been involved in many groups and projects. He organized the Monday book group for many years, led workshops at the Adult Retreat, repaired houses in New Orleans with a UUCF group after Hurricane Katrina, and taught UUCF’s Our Whole Lives comprehensive sexuality education class for middle school youth.
Mary Tripp
Longtime UUCF member Mary Tripp, age 92, passed away on December 24, 2024, surrounded by family. Condolences to Mary’s husband, Bob Tripp, and her daughter, Sarah Keely, who is also a UUCF member. Bob and Mary joined UUCF in 1975. Over the years, Mary served on the UUCF Board, organized Oberlin concerts and was very active in the Partner Church program. She was also active in the Memoirs Group and Wednesday Morning Book Group.
