Courtney Firth began working as UUCF’s youth ministry coordinator in September 2015. In December 2023, as part of a staff restructuring, Courtney was promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Family Ministries. Before joining the UUCF staff, Courtney was interim coordinator for spiritual development at Accotink UU Church in Burke, VA, and has had several positions in recent years serving and caring for youth and children. Courtney has traveled and lived in many parts of the U.S. and abroad. When she finally landed in Northern Virginia, Courtney became a member of Bull Run UU in Manassas, VA, where she met her husband, Richard, and stepdaughter, Abby. In December 2018, Courtney and her family welcomed baby Jack into their family. Courtney enjoys music, including singing in a local chorus. She is also on sabbatical from playing handbells. Courtney and her husband and son live in Centreville, VA.
