The UUCF Hypothermia Shelter coordination team needs more lead volunteers very soon to assist in making improvements in UUCF’s week of hosting unhoused Fairfax County community members. The shelter is striving to improve the entertainment and services provided throughout the shelter week. Non-leadership volunteer signup starts October 18.
UUCF participates in this annual FACETS interfaith winter project, providing nighttime meals and shelter for about 45-50 unhoused adults. Many volunteers are needed.
