UUCF’s partner congregation in Puriang in northeast India has been preparing for Anniversary Day on September 18. It is a day of prayer and renewal, commemorating the founding of the first Unitarian church in the region in 1887. The UUCF Partner Church Circle will send a message of friendship in honor of Anniversary Day. Along with the video of the service are photos of the ceremonies at the Puriang Unitarian School for Indian Independence Day, the new tailoring class that UUCF scholarship funds helped to initiate, and a video of children playing musical chairs.
