The Share the Plate recipient for April is Plant NOVA Natives, an all-volunteer campaign developed by a coalition of non-profit, governmental, and private groups, aimed at reversing the decline of native plants and wildlife in Northern Virginia. The group’s strategy is to encourage residents and public and commercial entities to install native plants as the first step toward creating wildlife habitat and functioning ecosystems on their own properties.
