Why not bring your smile and hospitality to the Welcome Team? It’s easy and fun meeting new people and introducing them to all that UUCF has to offer. It’s also great knowing that you helped a visitor make connections that could bring that back to UUCF. Instructions and training are provided each week. You can volunteer on any schedule that suits you. Once you do, the Membership Team will contact you.
About the Welcome Team
The Welcome Table in the Sanctuary lobby is staffed each Sunday by three volunteers each week. Two Welcomers greet visitors, ask them to complete a visitor information form, and share information on upcoming activities. Those Welcomers return to the Table after the service to help anyone wishing to sign the membership book and, if given permission, ring the bell!
The third volunteer, the Connector, helps visitors find a seat in the Sanctuary and makes a special effort to speak to the visitor after the service and to introduce them to others. These personal interactions help build real connections.
