The Share the Plate recipient for May is Blue Ridge Abortion Fund. The organization believes that funding abortion is an act of radical care and that all community members should have the agency and the resources to make their own decisions about their bodies and lives. The Fund provides community members with financial support, transportation, and lodging assistance. Through education and community outreach, they work to reduce stigma and increase awareness.
