“There is a quality of listening that is possible among a circle of human beings, who by their attentiveness to one another create a space in which each person is able to give voice to the truth of his or her life. There is the miracle of authentic narrative, made possible by listening that holds still long enough to let our truth be told.”

Journey with your companions at UUCF through Soul Matters Groups – a practice of deep listening, sharing and reflection.
These small groups (6-8 participants) meet online monthly (September-June) for 1.5 to 2 hours and engage the monthly Soul Matters worship themes. Group members listen to each other, listen to our lives and listen to our deepest selves – leading us to greater loving and living, deeper transformation, spiritual connection and sometimes spiritual healing.
Participants often experience a knitting back together when we may have been cut off (or cut ourselves off) from our deepest selves, separated ourselves from life’s gifts and forgotten to serve needs greater than our own. If you are interested in participating in such an experience, see the What’s happening page or contact Rev. Christin C. Green or Lay Minister for Adult Spiritual Development Stacy Casey.
